libglove joins a whole set of tools for using the data glove of CyberGlove Systems LLC. Next to the low level communication with the device this includes a daemon for managing various devices locally and remotely, a calibration tool and various demos explaining the use of the library.
Within the scope of my stay with ISR Lisbon I had the oppertunity to play a little with the humanoid robot iCub. As a byproduct of my research on machine learning methods for handling object affordances, I developed libglove for teleoperating the robot's hand.

libglove is mostly implemented with the C++ programming language. For the user tools, on the other hand, C# was used instead. The complete project is distributed under the terms of the BSD License and is available from the Sourceforge project page or the project web page of libglove.
